I want to learn Spanish. Beyond my limited "Simpsons Bumblebee man" Spanish. Several recent encounters with non-bi-lingual people have made me decide that Spanish would be a good first second language to learn. Besides, it's about time that I become bi-lingual.

Have any of you tried those Rosetta Stone cds? And does anyone else find it annoying that the television ads emphasize "Stone" when they say it? :) Have any of you tried the TellMeMore Performance cds?

  1. I saw the Rosetta stone cds once in Frisco and boy were they pricy! I found a program called "teach yourself" at barnes & nobels for about $30. I bought the Turkish version and it included 2 cds and one book. Pretty good. I can't say I am fluent, but I don't practice very much. ¡Buena suerte! Good luck!

  2. Someone I know said the Rosetta Stone was awesome. I don't remember who. I fully intend to get it when I can.

If you have any techie friends, they can get it for free.

    I have a techie brother. :D
