Rather than craving them all day, I planned for a few almonds during breakfast. :)

[ 4g ] LC chocolate muffin
[ 1g ] almonds
for lunch I brought:
[ 0 ] ground beef
[ 1g ] cheese
[ 2.5g ] diced onion
[ 1g ] mushrooms
[ 2g ] LC SlimFast (it's not a fabulous Sadekat shake)
probably dinner will be:
[ 0 ] roast beef
[ 1g ] radishes
[ 2g ] diced onion
[ 5g ]LC cake with LC peanut butter icing
TOTAL 19.5 carbs

  1. Nice planning. :) I like your strategy.

Did it help with the cravings?

  2. Yep, and I'm taking the rest of the canister home tonight. Normally I portion out what I am going to have during the day and it doesn't even cross my mind twice. Having the whole can here makes me not able to get them off my mind. I don't even like almonds THAT much ... it's just that it's from home and there are no legal snacks here (which is good). Thanks for the comment Harry. :)

  3. I LOVE almonds!!! I count out my portion sometime during the morning in a little dish and munch on them all day. YUMMMMMM.

  4. Oh Deborah, that's a good idea. I love pecans and almonds but tend to over eat them. I might have to try that strategy.

I am going to have to try that lc cake one of these days.

  5. Thanks so much for your kind words. I am looking up that link you shared right now. (I will be back to low-carbing again after I get a handle on this way of life)
