Saturday (oh glorious Saturday) menu

BREAKFAST - 15carbs
[15] carbquick pancakes with SF maple syrup (good, but didn't blow me away)

Lunch - xcarbs
[x] spinach quiche (avoiding most of the crust)
[x] 3 bites of diced pineapple
[x] pumpkin ice cream

Dinner - xcarbs
[0] 3oz steak
[x] very small amount of potato soup from Outback Steakhouse

TOTAL xcarb


  1. I didn't know that quiches have crust! Are they supposed to?

  2. I think crustless quiche is definitely the rarity in Indiana restaurants. But I don't go to many restaurants so what do I know? :) Not only did it have crust at the place we went, but it seemed like a pre-made frozen pie crust. We'll not be eating there ever again and I am tempted to email Chef Ramsey to suggest he does an episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" there. The staff were very nice but the food ... we were wishing we'd walked out before we ordered. Seriously.
