baboons

The movie Inception was a gloomy, dark and twisted mind-buster. I am wanting to see it again just to understand what I missed the first time. It ends in a manner that is open so you are left to decide what happened. Matt chose to think all was well whereas I chose to be undecided with a lean toward the "all is lost" camp. I guess that describes our personalities too. Matt is sweet through and through and I am the anxious gun-shy one.

We had a good laugh after the movie. Two people sat right behind us and talked through the whole show. Since the theater was sparsely populated that was just one other thing that made us want to scream "would you shut the @#$% up!!!" ... but we didn't. The laugh was when we shared all of the things we held back from doing to the obnoxious talkers (they kicked the backs of our seats now and then too). The one thing that I very nearly did was to get up and move to the row directly behind them to exact some seat kicking revenge. Alas, I'm too civilized to regress to baboon behavior. *sigh*

Matt packed us both some low-carb snack bags with such contraband as almonds from the outside world (non-overpriced-theater-snacks). He's even started doing low-carb too just for the health of it. That's two slim guys I know in real who diet not to lose weight, but to be healthy.
