Week 29 begins

Since I mistakenly posted over this entry I suppose the words are forever lost in time. I'll try to at least remember the gist of what was erased:

My meals this week consist of chicken and broccoli which is a big change from the ground sirloin and sausage with peppadew pepper meals that I've been having for over a month. It's refreshing to have something different.

Yesterday was busy but nice and quiet too. It's probably the least stressful Monday I've had in a good while.

I brought my Kindle to work hoping to catch time to read a few pages of the novel I'm absorbed in. A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin. After learning where I was in the book, Cro let me know that a "game changing" event would be coming up in the next few chapters. I woke at 1:30am and read until 2:30am but still didn't reach the event. After reading at least a dozen more chapters I made Cro tell me what the game changer was. I couldn't stand not knowing if it was still to come or if I had already read it and didn't consider it as significant as he did. After he told me I immediately agreed that it WAS significant but that I hadn't reached it yet. Soon! :)

  1. Well, take a look at you, back in Onderland! Take a look at my blog again to see the revised version of today's post for an even-juicier part of the story at the hospital... I decided not to leave out any sordid details, but by the time I published the revised version, your comment was there and I can't have you missing out on any of the juice!

I love reading a book that somebody close to me has enjoyed... and enjoying it with them that way.
